Bayelsa PDP Guber Campaign: Massive rally for Ogbia Constituency One
Governor Douye Diri, candidate of the PDP in the 2023 Gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State, Tuesday, October 18 took his re-election campaign to Ogbia Constituency One.
Accompanied by his running mate and Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the Governor made a stop at Otakeme community, Opume, Abobiri and Ogbia town for the rally.
The Obhanoban of Ogbia kingdom, HRM Dimaro Owaba Charles and King A. J Turner of Olei Clan, prayed for the success of the Governor in the election.
Governor Diri appreciated the people of Ogbia for their support to the Prosperity Administration with an assurance to bring more development to the area.
"We completed the Imiringi bridge, we have done the collapsed Elebele bridge. We are reconstructing the Onuegbum-Otuoke road and work is going on well on the Akaba-Ogu-Okodi road. The hospital is here almost 99 per cent ready."
On the entourage of the Governor were the Senator Sunday Benson Agadaga, members of the House of Representatives from Bayelsa State including Hon. Mitema Obordor of Ogbia Federal Constituency and DG of the Guber campaign, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, other top government functionaries.
