Breaking: Governor Fintiri Wins Again At Election Petition Tribunal

The Adamawa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal on Saturday struck out a petition filed by the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Aishatu Dahiru Binani, against 3 others in the just concluded 2023 polls.

The candidate was challenging the election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP).

Fintiri and Farauta were declared winners by the Independent National Electoral Commission as validly elected on 18 April, 2023, after a supplementary election.

APC had challenged the declaration and return of Fintiri based on alleged electoral malpractice.
