Governor Adeleke Rejoices With The Ooni of Ife At 49

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday congratulated HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, on the auspicious occasion of his 49th year birthday, eulogizing him as a foremost traditional ruler in the promotion of culture and heritage.

The congratulatory message, which was contained in a statement signed by the Governor's Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, described Oba Ogunwusi as a symbolic leader, giving his remarkable efforts towards the preservation of Yoruba ideals and culture.

Governor Adeleke extols the humble carriage of the Arole Oduduwa and pronounced commitment to the unity of the race, expressing his admiration for the monarch's style of leadership, which embodies strong emphasis to the well-being and prosperity of the people.

"It is my honour to warmly felicitate the Arole of Oduduwa, HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan, Ojaja II, on his 49th year birthday celebration," the Governor was quoted to have said in the congratulatory message.

While sharing in the joy that comes with the moment, Governor Adeleke noted that Oba Ogunwusi's "exemplary leadership is a source of inspiration to a lot of people". He added that "we are grateful for your unwavering commitment to our tradition and fostering mutual understanding and harmony between our people."

The Governor prays to Eledumare to continue to give Kabiyesi good health and wisdom to pilot the traditional affairs and offer valuable contributions to the development of our dear Osun State and Nigeria at large.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
