Governor Douye Diri, PDP Gubernatorial Campaign Trail Visits Igbomotoru, Peremabiri, Ekowe, Opuama And Eniware Communities, In Southern Ijaw Constituency III

The Gubernatorial Campaign of the PDP in Bayelsa State landed in Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 to a rousing welcome by the people in various communities.

The campaign trail led by the Director General, Hon. Mitema Obordor, visited five communities in the area- Igbomotoru, Peremabiri, Ekowe, Opuama, and Eniware.

While addressing the people, Governor Douye Diri, reiterated his administration's commitment to the completion of the Yenagoa-Oporoma-Ukubie road.

At Igbomotoru, he assured the people of construction of new internal roads and installations of solar lights.

"We are interested in the development of our communities."

Governor Diri, equally reminded the people that he had approved the construction of a pavilion at Eniware, as well as a road construction from the Aguobiri axis of the Yenagoa-Oporoma road to link Eniware which would ease the difficulty of movement of goods and services among communities in the area.

At Ekowe community, member representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 in the State Assembly, Hon. Moses Marlon, said Governor Diri had demonstrated love to the people with the 500 KVA Generator and so, they have resolved to support his re-election.

While appreciating the Governor for his commitment in the development of the state, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Daniel Igali, assured Governor Diri that, Southern Ijaw constituency-3 has always supported the PDP and that, come 11th November, 2023, the people will vote massively for the victory of the Party.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
