Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang Celebrates His Majesty, The Gbong Gwom Jos, On His Birthday

I am delighted to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, CON, the Gbong Gwom Jos, and Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs. A retired Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service and one of the illustrious sons of Plateau State, he has enriched our heritage with his wealth of experience gained through years of public service. The Royal Father not only embodies the pride of Plateau State, but is also a respectable custodian of the culture and traditions of the Berom Nation.

I take genuine pride in his enduring service of wise counsel and leadership of the Council of Chiefs and Emirs. 

Through your efforts, Your Majesty, you have elevated the Traditional Stool of your Forefathers, by bringing uncommon dignity and pride of identity bear on our collective heritage.

The Berom Nation, the Council of Chiefs and Emirs, and Plateau State in general join in celebrating an intelligent, resourceful, and prolific iconic figure and a leader who proceeds with wisdom and integrity. Your unwavering commitment to peaceful coexistence, and the welfare of your subjects is commendable. Your dedication to preserving the history, culture, and traditions of your people through meticulous care and commitment are legendary inspiration to succeeding generations.

On this special day, I, on behalf of my family, the Government, and the gracious people of Plateau State, extend heartfelt birthday wishes to You. May God continue to bless you with long life and wisdom as you carry out the sacred responsibility of safeguarding the traditions and culture of the Berom Nation.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best.
