...as Sen. Dickson says coast clear for Diri/Law re-election

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri and his Deputy, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, were Wednesday, October 18, well received by the stakeholders of Bayelsa West, led by the former Governor, Sen. Seriake Dickson, at Toru-Orua, in Sagbama Local Government Area.

The Governor who was first received and blessed by the King of Tarakiri, HRM Seiyefa Koroye at his palace, before being treated to a rousing welcome and fun fare by the people of the Senatorial District led by the former Governor, was overwhelmed by the show of love and solidarity from the people.

He appreciated them for always standing by him and his deputy over the years, and that this selfless brotherly love will always continue.

He also used the opportunity to inform them of his plans to carry out his campaigns in the district, and also thank former Governor Dickson for his unrelenting support and love over the years, and for also hosting him and his team to his amazement.

Sen. Dickson who treated the Governor to a rousing welcome, used the opportunity to declare his total support for the re-election of His Excellency and his deputy.

"The coast is now clear for the Governor and his running mate to win this election", Senator Dickson stated.

He noted that the Governor and his deputy have done well, and deserve re-election and that there is no other worthy opponent for the overqualified duo of Diri/Law.

Also, the jubilant crowd at the venue expressed their readiness to turn up in mass to support the Diri/Law ticket during the campaigns and come November 11.
