Adamawa Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnership Coordinating Unit Gets New Coordinator

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has approved the appointment of Hon. Halilu Hammawa Malabu as the Coordinator of the Adamawa State Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnership Coordinating Unit.

Hon. Hammawa, who is currently the Special Adviser to the Governor on Finance and Revenue, is expected to reposition the unit for optimal performance.

While congratulating Hon. Hammawa on his appointment, Governor Fintiri urged him to leverage his wealth of experience and loyalty to reposition the unit, citing the confidence he has in him.

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities.
