Plateau State Governor Mourns the Passing of Vice President Kashim Shettima's Mother-in-Law
Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima, on the passing of his mother-in-law, Maryam Albishir.
In a condolence message, Governor Mutfwang said the demise of Maryam Albishir, mother of Nana Shettima, wife of Vice President Kashim Shettima, at the age of 69 after a prolonged illness, is undoubtedly a colossal loss, not only to the immediate family but to the nation as a whole.
He noted that the enduring legacy of justice, empathy, and unwavering commitment to selfless service exhibited by the deceased will continue to resonate.
Governor Mutfwang stated that Maryam Albishir was an epitome of humility and kindness, touching and transforming many lives with her great counsel and visionary leadership. "Her benevolence extended beyond family bonds, leaving a positive imprint on countless individuals", Governor Mutfwang said.
The Governor acknowledged that her acts of generosity have significantly impacted many lives, adding that her steadfast faith, wisdom, and resilience in service to humanity will be deeply missed.
On behalf of his family, the government, and the citizens of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang expressed his heartfelt condolences to Vice President Kashim Shettima and the entire family. He prayed the Almighty God to grant them the fortitude to endure this irreplaceable loss.
