EID-EL-KABIR: Gov Kefas felicitates with Muslims, stresses the importance of sacrifice.

Taraba state governor,  Dr Agbu Kefas, has felicitated with Muslims ummah across the country on this year's Eid - el-kabir celebration. He said the moment calls for sober reflection on our nation's perils while celebrating God's goodness in our lives. He urged everyone to pray for the leaders as they steered the ship of state.

Dr. Kefas further urged the Muslims ummah to deeply emulate the  virtues of patience, devotion, obedience, sacrifice, love, tolerance, peace, and patriotism.

On religious harmony, the governor said his administration would continue to be fair to all sides, noting that Taraba state is a three in one state with all the faiths cohabiting in peace.

Governor Kefas called on all to join hands in building the state, stressing the need to continue to be selfless. He said citizens should uphold the love for one another, decency to all, and respect for other people's way of life.

Additionally, the governor used the occasion to reiterate his administration commitment to peace, unity, and progress of the state. He said he will continue to support the security agencies to rid the state of all sorts of criminality.  He encouraged community leaders to continue collaborating with security agencies in the search for peace.

Relatedly, Governor Kefas commended traditional rulers for moving forward with him in the quest to make Taraba great again. He said the work they do,  alongside religious leaders, has helped in expanding the delivery of the dividends of democracy across the state.
