PDP Governors’ Forum Celebrates H.E. Gov Ahmadu Fintiri’s Inaugurated Signature Project

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON), the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all the member Governors celebrates with H.E. Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa State on the inauguration of the newly-completed Jimeta Grade Interchange in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, christened the Adamawa Unity Bridge.

2.  The Forum is elated at the honour of having our elder statesman, former President Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, inaugurate this significant infrastructure with specific features viz, an underground pass, an overpass, CCTV cameras for monitoring and security aside the  roads connecting multiple streets to ease intra-state transport.

3. The construction timeline started on August 30, 2020 and has been completed and officially commissioned on May 29, 2024. And on its Purpose and Impact, the Adamawa Unity Bridge aims to improve transportation and connectivity within Yola, as well as serve as a vital link for commuters and enhances the overall urban infrastructure.

4.  The Forum applauds the Governor’s infrastructure drive, and his commitment to further developing urban and semi-urban centres in the state to create a more aesthetically-pleasing environment and enhance the comfort and convenience of residents and investors.

5.   We wish the Governor and his cabinet, as well as the good people of Adamawa State, at home and in the Diaspora, the unfolding of more dividends of good governance.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas.
