PDP Leaders Gather in Umuahia to Honor BoT Chairman Sen. Adolphus Wabara on His 76th Birthday
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Acting National Chairman Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, has arrived in Umuahia for a grand reception honoring the Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, H.E. Sen. Adolphus Wabara, Ph.D., in celebration of his 76th birthday. The event is being held at the Trademore Event Centre.
In attendance at this significant event are the Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors' Forum, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON), and the Governors of Edo, Enugu, and Oyo States: H.E. Godwin Obaseki, H.E. Peter Mbah, and H.E. Seyi Makinde, along with their entourages.
Other notable dignitaries include the former Governor of Kaduna State, H.E. Ahmed Makarfi, Sen. Abdul Ningi, the Director General of the PDP Governors' Forum, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, various members of the Board of Trustees (BoT), and other VIPs.
Upon their arrival in Umuahia, the team was received by the Deputy National Legal Adviser of the PDP, Barr. Daniel Okechukwu, at the airport in Owerri, Imo State. They were then escorted to the Abia State Government House to pay a courtesy visit to H.E. Alex Otti, the Executive Governor of Abia State, before proceeding to the Trademore Event Centre to commence the celebration.
