CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC: GOV UDOM EMMANUEL DELIVERS STATE BROADCAST


- Says Comprehensive measures at Ibom Airport has no parallel in West Africa

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State says his government has put in place preventive measures on how to curb and prevent  the scourge of COVID 19 pandemic that has allegedly spread into the shores of our country, Nigeria, not withstanding the fact that the state is yet to record any single incidence of the scary infection.


He disclosed this and much more in a state broadcast in Uyo on Friday.

The governor emphatically stated that there is no confirmed case of COVID-19 disease in the State and to ensure that the state is on top of the situation, comprehensive  measures with no parallel for comparison  anywhere in the West African sub-region, have been put in place at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo.

He also rolled out a sequence of personal preventive measures for the citizenry as contained in the text of the state broadcast below:
