The Nigerian Medical Association, Zamfara State chapter, has  told  Governor Bello Matawalle to  impose a two-week  curfew in an effort to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

Speaking to journalists  in Gusau on Wednesday, the association’s chairman, Dr. Kabiru Musa, said that closing schools, ministries and parastatals was not enough to stop the spread of the disease.

He  urged  the Governor to also restrict movement for two weeks.

Kabiru stated that the State Government was supposed to have directed the people to remain at home  to avoid overcrowding.
