18th Anniversary of Overcoming Lamb Assembly: Gov. Douye Diri re-echoes songs of love in Bayelsa

His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State today was at the Overcoming Lamb Assembly to honour the 18th Anniversary of the church under Pastor Godspower Asingba.
Gov. Diri, who congratulated the church on the feat urged the people of the state to continue to show love to one another.
The governor who renewed his administration commitment to the development of the state also called on politicians to eschew violence.
"A lot of our youths need to take lessons from the life experience of Rev. Asingba, who went through so much to get to this level. We all have our stories and this attitude of 'I am loyal' by our youths must stop. Find something doing with your hands and shun cultism. Easter, is a time of reflection. Let us be good citizens of Bayelsa State, bring ideas forth for the development of the state", Gov. Diri stated.
The Governor who was touched by the ministration and personal experience of a 97- year old Pastor, Samuel Arabina, announced donation of a brand new car to him.
Not long after the church thanksgiving, Gov. Diri, presented keys to the brand new car to Pastor Arabina, who was full of appreciation and offered prayers for the Governor.
