Tambuwal Graces Launch of 'Book of States'

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State was among dignitaries that participated in the official launch of the 'Book of States: A Compendium of the Economic Potentials and invesment opportunities of the 36 States of the Federation and FCT', at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja on Monday.

The book is an initiation of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) in conjunction with Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF). 


Gov. Tambuwal was represented by the state  Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Honourable Bashir Gidado Jegawa.  

Also at the book launch were the Chairman of the NGF, who is also the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who was represented by the Director-General of the NGF, Mr Ashashina Okauru,, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi, the Minister of State Industry, Trade and Investment, Ambassador Maryam Katagum, the Executive Secretary of the NIPC, Miss Yewande Sadiku, the Chairman Governing Board of NIPC, Rt Hon. Babangida Nguroje and many dignitaries.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
