Ikpeazu Condoles Family Of Late Deputy COS, Ukpai Agwu Ukpai

It was an extremely solemn evening as Governor Okezie Ikpeazu paid a condolence visit to the family of his late Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai, PhD who died few days ago.

Accompanied by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji and some members of the State Executive Council, the governor expressed deep grief at the demise of his dear bossom friend and long term political associate.

The governor was briefed on the circumstances of the death of Chief Ukpai by the deceased physician, Dr. Eme Ajike.

Speaking at the very solemn event, Governor Ikpeazu described the death of Chief Ukpai as a personal loss to him and his family, the PDP political family and to Abia State.

According to the governor, the suddenness of the death made it impossible for any kind of help to come from anyone, stressing that what came upon Chief Ukpai was well beyond any human intervention.

He advised the widow and children of the Late Chief to accept the difficult reality and take solace from the good life he lived.

Prayers were said for the repose of the soul of the Late Chief Ukpai after which the governor signed the Condolence Register.
