Governor Fintiri Mourns Mama Mildred

Adamawa State Governor, Rt.Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has sent a message of condolence and comfort to the family of late Mama Mildred Ibrahim who died on Monday April 12th after an illness in Abuja. 



Mama Mildred 76, was the Mother of Hon Kwamoti Laori Lawmaker representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde at the National Assembly.

Governor Fintiri said he received the news of the death of Mama Mildred with great shock and a deep sense of loss, saying the People and Government of Adamawa State stand in solidarity with Honourable Kwamoti Laori and the family in mourning the departed Mama Mildred. 

Governor Fintiri described the deceased "As a devoted, generous and humble Matriarch who raised a close knit family and contributed immensely to the progress of her community", the Governor said.

Rt.Hon Fintiri noted that Mama Mildred Ibrahim was a hard working Mother on whose broad shoulders many People were raised to become great Nigerians including Kwamoti, a fine Lawyer and Lawmaker. 

Governor Fintiri said "Mama was a gracious and loving Mother, a true Matriarch who loved and took care of all People, especially those in need during her service year at the Government Hospital which she continued after her retirement with the LCCN clinic at Numan, without any reservation".

He wished Honourable Kwamoti and the entire family God's solace as they come to terms with the passing away of Mama Mildred. 

The Governor stated that death had robbed the family and the entire Numan federation of a wise Mother whose service to her community helped shape the People.

"We will forever be grateful for her charitable work and acts of love. To my brother and friend, may God comfort you and the family, and guide you at this difficult time of mourning", Governor Fintiri said. 

"Mama has been a towering symbol of family values and unity of her community. Certainly,  we mourn a great Woman who cherished and worked for peaceful Co-existence of her community".
