PDP Governors' Forum Celebrates Governor Ortom @60


The PDP Governors' Forum under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, (Governor of Sokoto State) has Congratulated Dr. Samuel Ortom, the Governor of  Benue State, on his 60th birthday anniversary. 



In a press statement issued on behalf of the forum and signed by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, the Director-General, PDP Governors' Forum, describes Ortom as a man of great faith and strong will.

GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM PDP GOVERNORS’ FORUM ON YOUR 60TH BIRTHDAY.


The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR, the Governor of Sokoto State felicitates with you on your 60th birthday anniversary.


2. It is incumbent on us to join you, a man of great faith and strong will, in raising all gratitude to the Almighty Father for His faithfulness and kindness, protection and divine providence in your life, especially at this occasion of your 60th birthday anniversary. 60 years is most remarkable in the life of any person. It is a time to take stock and reflect about your highly successful journey through life.


3. We thank God for His guidance to you all these years and in particular His grace in piloting the affairs of Benue State through very trying times. 


4. Evidence of your sound performance in office abound in the areas of security for lives despite immense difficulties, educational reforms, agriculture and agro-based projects to provide food and attain food security while creating employment and growth.


5. Timely intervention in the health sector, MSME funds for women and youths, road and power infrastructure, are worthy of mention. 


6. We are therefore confident that your legacies in office as Governor will live memorably in the minds and hearts of citizens of Benue State for a very long time to come.


7. You have reaffirmed the essence of mutual bonding amongst all of us in the Forum and the party, PDP, even most recently, as you hosted both the PDP Governors and PDP North Central Zonal Congress in your state.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
