Governor Fintiri Swears-in 10 New Permanent Secretaries

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Monday swore into office ten permanent secretaries in a colourful event that held in the conference hall, Government House, Yola.

They are Usman Pius Ayuba, Telu Beniterani, Musa Bajauro, Sani M. Shallangwa, Anthony Brina Wunfe, Briyani Wilson, Umar Mohammed Nuru, Ashiyati Ananze, Uba Umaru Abdu and Rhoda Zira Yohanna.


Addressing the permanent secretaries, Governor Umaru Fintiri congratulated them and urged them to use their new position and raise the bar of the civil service.

He congratulated the permanent secretaries and called on them to carry everybody along while discharging their official responsibilities for the overall development of the state.


In her vote of thanks on behalf of other appointees, Mrs Rhoda Zira Yohanna lauded for being gender sensitive and assured him that they will bring their wealth of experience to bear in the service.

The oath of office and allegiance were administered on the new permanent secretaries by the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Afraimu K. Jingi
