Gov. Darius Ishaku Commissions fully equipped Grade four Molecular Laboratory.

Governor Ishaku has Commissioned a Molecular laboratory located at the specialist Hospital Jalingo. The laboratory is a grade 4 laboratory with every Morden facility and testing kits intact. While speaking at the scene of the commissioning,  He disclosed that the lab is capable of testing and resulting Covid-19 as well as other diseases. 

The Governor while stating how standard the Laboratory was  disclosed that there are four other labs in the state stationed at the three zones of the state to serve emergency purposes that might arise from communities in any of the Zone. The Laboratory has been named after the Governor as "Arc. Darius D. Ishaku Infectious Diseases Laboratory" 

The Governor was accompanied by His Deputy Engr Haruna Manu,  the Senator representing Taraba Central Distinguished Senator Yusuf A. Yusuf and other top Government functionaries.

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities.
