Gov. Diri Pays Homage To Bauchi Emir

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, today paid Sallah homage to the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwan Sulaiman Adamu, in his palace in Bauchi State.

The visit of the governor was to pay his respect to the royal father as a subject of the Bauchi Emirate.


The Emir had on February 21 this year conferred on Governor Diri the exalted title of the Wakilin Kudu of Bauchi, which means "brave and courageous representative" in the South.


Host Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed led the Bayelsa delegation to the palace.
