Gov. Diri receives Anambra PDP Guber Candidate

His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State has received the candidate of the PDP in the fourth coming Governorship election in Anambra State, Mr. Valentine  Ozigbo.

Gov. Diri, who congratulated him for emerging the party's standard bearer, urged the people of Anambra State to stand by the candidate and the only party with influence, the PDP.


The Governor described Mr. Ozigbo as a great businessman with strong capacity to provide effective leadership and service to his people.


He assured that the party leadership would mobilise resources and support for the man who has endeared himself to the people over the years to win the governorship race come November 6th 2021.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. He explained that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, is receiving special attention with the provision of modern and comfortable office spaces. How Olubolade Averted Bloodshed As Bayelsa Military Administrator - Gov Diri

Governor of Bayelsa State , Senator Douye Diri , has narrated how a former Military Administrator of the state, Navy Captain Omoniyi Olubolade (rtd), avoided a bloody crisis during his time at the helm of affairs.  Olubolade was the third military administrator of Bayelsa from June 27, 1997 – July 9, 1998 after the state was created by the late military Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha , on October 1, 1996.
