Governor Fintiri Consoles Kumangar On Mothers Death
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commiserated with his Media aide Solomon Kumangar on the death of his Mother Mama Kwata Kumangar who passed on Sunday at the age of 78.
Rt.Hon Fintiri described Mama Kwatas death as a big loss, saying she would be sorely missed by Members of her family, the people of Madagali and Michika.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri noted that "Mama was a towering family figure who not only brought tremendous change to her household, community, Adamawa and the Church of the Brethren Mission in Nigeria, as a Mother to all that crossed her path".
The Governor who personally called Solomon expressed his condolences to the family. "I am saddened by the news of the passage of your dear Mother to eternal glory".
While lamenting the loss of the Kumangar Matriarch, Governor Fintiri however, urged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life. "I can testify to that because I was also her son".
He however regretted that it is coming at this time of security and socio-economic challenges, when the guidance and advice of a great leader like Mama is needed, her death is a big loss". Fintiri said.
Governor Fintiri therefore urged Solomon and the entire family to be comforted by the fact that great values she left behind would serve as a guiding light not only to her immediate community, but the entire State.
"I understand how it feels to lose a Mother, having also experienced same. Losing somebody dear to us like a Mother can be difficult. I know how it feels because I have been through that way having lost my mum".
The Governor prayed God to grant eternal rest to the Kumangar Matriarch, and provide Succour for the bereaved family Members.
