Governor Fintiri Mourns Baba Panti Filibus

Adamawa State Governor, Rt.Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has sent a message of condolence and comfort to the family of late Baba Panti Filibus father to the Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Most Rev. Dr Musa Panti Filibus who died on Saturday June 12th after an illness. 


Governor Fintiri said he received the news of the death of Baba Panti Filibus with great shock and a deep sense of loss,  noting that the People and Government of Adamawa State stand in solidarity with Most. Rev. Musa Panti Filibus and the family in mourning the departed Baba Panti Filibus. 


Governor Fintiri described the deceased "As a devoted, generous and humble Patriach who contributed immensely to the progress of his community", the Governor said.


Rt. Hon. Fintiri noted that Baba Panti Filibus was a meticulous Father on whose all-encompassing shoulders many People were upstretched to become great Nigerians including Archbishop Musa Panti Filibus, the President Lutheran World Federation. 


Governor Fintiri said "Baba was a kind and affectionate Father, a true Patriarch known for peace and service to humanity. He commended the tireless service the deceased rendered to the African Church where he served as a Pastor for many years.


Governor Fintiri wished Most Rev. Musa Panti Filibus and the entire family God's solace as they come to terms with the passing away of Baba Panti Filibus.

"Death has robbed the family and the entire Southern Zone of a prudent Father whose service to his community helped shape the People. Baba has been a towering symbol of family values and unity of his community. Certainly, we mourn a great Man who valued and worked for peaceful Co-existence of his community".
