Governor Fintiri Mourns Buba Ahmed

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has condoled Aliyu Ismaila Numan a retired federal Permanent Secretary over the loss of his elder brother, Alhaji Buba Ahmed who passed on Monday 19th July 2021after an illness. 


Governor Fintiri during a condolence visit to the family home in Numan on Thursday expressed shock over the demise of the elderstatesman, described as devastating loss to the family.

"I received the sad news of his passing with a deep pain and grief that words cannot explain. On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Adamawa State, I convey our deepest condolences." He said.

Governor Fintiri said "His memory, commitment and contribution to his community will never be forgotten." He said late Buba Ahmed will be solely missed by all whose lives he affected in many ways.

The #FreshAir Governor commiserated with his younger brother Aliyu Ismaila, family, associates, praying that they find the fortitude to bear this heavy loss. 
Governor Fintiri who described him as large hearted and courageous, said it was sad that he died when the family and the state needed his services.
