PDP Governors Meet At Bauchi

The PDP Governors Forum will meet on Monday 26th July, 2021 at Bauchi , Bauchi State, the Pearl of Tourism..


The meeting will examine and deliberate on the current state of the nation, and the state of their respective States.


Issues of unemployment,  the general parlous  state of the Nigerian economy, the health of Nigeria's democracy including the Electoral Act Amendment, Constitution Alteration bills pending before the National Assembly, will top discussions at the meeting. 


The meeting will continue to interrogate the Federal Governments response to the insecurity still pervading the country and profer workable solutions.


The Governors will continue to benchmark and exchange information and ideas on best practices on various aspects of governance in their respective states, as the PDP States and their  Governors are currently the major beacons of light ,delivering substantial democracy benefits through projects and policies impacting on the lives of Nigerians, within the limits of the general bad governance by APC led Federal Government.   


The Governors will also receive Reports of some of the Committee's working on various aspects of party repositioning including the E- Registration programme of the Party.


His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohamed,  CON, Bauchi State Governor is the Chief Host, and will be presided over by Rt Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, the Forum Chairman  and attended by all PDP Governors.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
