Banigo Hails Bro. Felix Obuah on His Birthday

Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has felicitated with the Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) Bro. Felix Obuah as he celebrates his Birthday on Wednesday, 16th December, 2020.



In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday 16th, 2020, Dr. Banigo said during Bro. Obuah’s tenure as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State, Bro. Felix Obuah demonstrated great leadership capacity which continued to make the PDP the most viable and vibrant political party in the history of Rivers State.

According to her, Bro. Obuah’s philanthropic disposition has continued to endear him to party faithful’s and other Rivers People across the State.

The Deputy Governor wished Bro. Felix Obuah many happy returns and prayed to the Almighty God to continue to bless and keep him in good health.

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities. He said the contracts included the design and construction of flyover bridge at Enerhen junction to Marine Gate; study, design and construction of road expansion and improvement works on the section of the DSC/NPA Expressway from Effurun roundabout to DSC roundabout including construction of a 3/4 Cloverleaf interchange at the existing Effurun Flyover Bridge as well as two pedestrian bridges.
