Gov Fintiri Commissions Clinic, Launches Measles Vaccination Campaign

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commissioned the Luggere Primary Healthcare Clinic and launched the Second Dose Measles Vaccination Campaign in Adamawa state.

Gov. Umaru Fintiri said a total of forty interventions ranging from construction and renovations were completely done in Primary and Secondary Health facilities across the state.


He observed that the introduction of the second dose measles vaccination into the immunization schedules is part of a renewed effort to reduce morbidity and mortality due to measles in Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.


The Commissioner for Health, Professor Abdullahi Isa, said commissioning the edifice was part of the health agenda of the Fintiri-led administration.


The District Head of Jimeta, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Baba Paris, in his vote of thanks commended the Fintiri-led administration for building the clinic.
