First Time History, Fintiri Engages Citizens on 2021 Budget


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Yola revealed that 98% of the contracts awarded by his administration in the state were given to indigenous contractors.


He made this known during a town hall citizens engagement programme on the 2021 budget organised in the Government House, Yola.

Governor Fintiri said his administration will deliver on its promise to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the citizenry.


The governor responded to many questions raised by some of the participants that included representatives of civil society organizations among others.


Earlier in their separate remarks, the Commissioner for Finance and Budget, Dr. Ishaya Dabari and the Executive Chairman, Adamawa State Planning Commission, Dr. Mary Paninga, said the engagement was the first of its kind in Adamawa.
