PDP Governor's Forum Felicitates With Gov. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike at 53

The PDP Governors' Forum under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, (Governor of Sokoto State) has congratulated Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State, on his 53rd birthday anniversary.



In a press statement issued on behalf of the forum and signed by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, the Director-General, the Governors said "In governance over the last five years, you have stood out as an embodiment of boldness, dependability  and a valuable asset to the PDP Governor's Forum.


Continuing the  statement added "So on this anniversary of your birthday, we gladly felicitate with you.


"May your sterling performances in the administration of Rivers State create  memorable legacies in the minds of the state and continue to transform the lives of the people and the country.


"We are inspired by your remarkable infrastructural and urban renewal projects,  transformation projects in the Judiciary, empowerment and total upgrading of the Youth and Sports sectors including the modern Real Madrid Sports Academy in Port Harcourt.


"We also acknowledge your lofty accomplishments in  industrialization, education, agriculture, health and security among others.


"We appreciate your various contributions in the unity of our country based on the ideals of truth, fairness and justice. We also appreciate your contributions to our great party and the PDP Governors' family. 


"May God Almighty grant you more years in good health, love of family as well as  wisdom, strength as you continue to pilot the affairs of the state.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
